On this Sunday at 6 p.m. Rundum presents the artworks of  Pille-Riin Jaik in the first Rundum Rehearsal Space. At 7 p.m. the same evening a talk with the artist will take place, led by Siim Ghert Preiman.

Pille-Riin Jaik is a third year photography student at the Estonian Academy of Arts, who has for the last year furthered her studies in Gothenburg last, self-taught herself in London, had some practice in Prague  and is now heading to Vienna for exchange studies.

The exhibition presents two video installations from her year of being abroad: 'Snow White Snow' and 'Losing sight: its slowly closing in'. In her works she uses found objects, self portrait elements, references to broken systems, disorder and order.

The Rehearsal Space will remain open until Wednesday, the 2nd of October.

Rundum esitleb sel pühapäeval kell 18:00 oma esimeses prooviruumis Pille-Riin Jaiki loomingut. Samal õhtul 19:00 toimub ka vestlus kunstikuga, mille viib läbi Siim Ghert Preiman.

Pille-Riin Jaik on III kursusel õppiv EKA Fotograafia tudeng, kes on viimasel aastal täiendanud oma õpinguid Göteborgis, iseõppinud Londonis, teinud praktikat Prahas ja nüüd on suundumas Viini vahetusõpingutele.

Näitusel esitleb ta eemaloleku aastal valminud kahte video installatsiooni: 'Snow White Snow' ja 'Losing sight: its slowly closing in'. Oma töödes kasutab ta leidobjekte, autoportreeliseid elemente, viiteid katkistele süsteemidele, korratust ja korrapära.

Prooviruum jääb avatuks kuni kolmapäevani, 02.10.13
