On the opening night there were two performances, one by Büsra Arli (with Michael Rene Sell) and second by Julian Inić. After that started official opening party with concerts by artist’s bands Death Row Groupies, Das Haeuten and Titus Probst in EKKM Cafe.

EXHIBITION'S STORYBOARD
(written after film 'Siin me oleme!' plot; revealed in social media by paragraphs)
1. (posted before arriving to Estonia) On a crisp autumn day two capricious Curators arrive with a bus to Tallinn. Few days after they are followed by 11 foreign, charming,’ and mischievous Artists, Band Members and Co-Performers. The troupe has decided to spend their autumn holidays by organizing an exhibition in stunningly beautiful Eastern Europe, but the caprices of the Curators turn the peaceful everyday life of Tallinn upside down...
2. (posted while exhibition set-up week) One of the Curators hits the jaw of EKA galerist with a shoe, the other one picks a fight with a Foreigner and through it destroys all of his self-pride. It turned out that the Foreigner had just started to make art and lives in obvious self-doubt. During the opening night love flame bursts open between one of the Hosts and exhibition Co-Performers. The newly founded couple decides to perform at the exhibition’s afterparty. All of the Artists leave the party together with their hearts filled with warm words and encouragements from Estonians to keep up the good work and to return for a visit to Estonia again..
3. (posted after arriving back to Vienna) Next day, the troupe is recovering from exhibition’s hangover at one of the Curator’s grandmother’s place by eating sprat sandwiches. The other Curator, who before considered some of the Artists bothersome, rethinks her positions and understands that they as well are still humans. The troupe leaves Estonia, but sooner than expected. At the end, one of the deranged Curators yells to others ecstatically, while the plane is flying over Poland: So this is where we still are!
CURATORIAL BACKGROUND
The exhibition “Here We Are! #fomo” is creating a shifting performative process in a gallery space that is characteristic to the desire and wishful thought of being ever present in the center of the action. It plays with different aspects and atmospheric elements that are mainly known from contemporary youth culture (Vice looks, live-streamings, techno music, selfie culture, expressive fashion, media scandal) or art audience (opening as the main event, big queues, exclusive afterparty ). Through it the viewer will find herself in a conflicting situation, where the longly waited 'next big thing or soon-to-be-coolest' seems to have finally arrived to that specific moment in its awed expressive excess.
The exhibition questions the modern disease of ephemeral longing for something better. It confuses the scales of 'the big scene (Vienna/Berlin/where the artists are from)' with 'the new small(former east/Tallinn/where it will take place)' and their exotic desires for each other’s 'difference'. Vienna is as 'hot' in Tallinn, as Tallinn is 'hot' in Vienna. Everything is 'hot' what is somewhere else. The idea of being in the 'center of action' has become an impossible psychotic state, where no one is able to ever be in the 'right place at the right time'. The only thing seemingly evident is the constant desire and an idea of 'something better out there'. When — if in order to use the potential of a moment — one should be actively present in that situation, then how one, whose soul is always longing for 'something else', can ever experience or create something 'big'? Has the constant fomo (fear of missing out) paralyzed the new generation’s potential? Why are we attracted to this and why do we buy into this conflicted state? Is it that we wish to arrive to our place of dreams or rather be constantly on a way for something better?

(kirjutatud filmi 'Siin me oleme!' stsenaariumi järgi; avaldatud sotsiaalmeedias paragraafide haaval)
1. (postitatud enne Eestisse saabumist) Kargel sügispäeval saabuvad Tallinna kaks kapriisset Kuraatorit ja lennukiga nende järel 11 välismaa kuraasikat Kunstnikku, Bändiliiget ja Kaasesinejat. Seltskond on otsustanud sügispuhkuse veeta Tallinnas, korraldades näitust kaunis Ida-Euroopas, kuid Kuraatorite kapriisid pööravad rahuliku Tallinna igapäevaelu peapeale…
2. (postitatud näituse ülespaneku ajal) Üks kuraator lööb EKA galeristil huule veriseks, teine satub kaklusse Välismaalasega, viies võitluses kaasa ka tolle eneseuhkuse. Selgub, et Välismaalane on alles alustanud kunsti tegemist ning elab ilmselt enesekahtluses. Ühe Öömajapakkuja ja näituse Kaasesineja vahel tärkab näituse avamisel leek; uus loodud paar otsustab üles astuda EKKMi järelpeol. Kunstnikud lahkuvad peolt kõik koos, südames soojad sõnad eestlastelt ning julgustus edasi töötada ja ikka Eestimaale neid vaatama sõita.
3. (postitatud tagasi Viini jõudes) Järgmisel päeval taastub kogu seltskond näituse pohmellist ühe Kuraatori vanaema kiluvõileibu süües ning teine Kuraator, kes mõnda oma Kunstnikest varem tüütuks oli pidanud, mõtleb oma seisukohas ümber ja saab aru, et nad on ka ikkagi inimesed. Seltskond lahkub Eestist, kuid plaanitust varem. Lõpuks hüüab üks mõistuse kaotanud Kuraator joovastunult teisele lennukis kuskil Poola kohal: Siin me nüüd siis uuesti olemegi!
KURATOORNE TAGAMAA
Näituse eesmärgiks on luua galerii ruumi aktiivne kujutlem ihadest ja soovunelmatest paikneda sündmuste keskpunktis. Tahame luua kaasaegse noorema kunstipublikuga suhestuvat atmosfääri, kus ekspressiivses äärmuses on kohale jõudnud nii nn. uus cool mujalt kui ka ihalused selle ‘mujal’ asuva järele. Rõhutame esmalt keskpunkti olemasolu küsitavusele ning seejärele selle võimaliku keskpunkti kaardistamatusele, kus seal paiknemisest või mitte paiknemisest on juba ette võimatu aru saada. Ilmselge on ainult iha: soov ja soovimatus, rahulolu ja rahulolematus, psühhoos olla osa uuest, suurest, kõige tähtsamast. Kui aktiivne kohalolu on seotud kohaga, kuid kui ihalev hing on pooleldi ilmselge rahulolematusega alati mujal, siis kas keegi saab kunagi olla enam õiges kohas õige ajal?
Fomo ehk lühend inglise keelsest väljendist 'fear of missing out' (hirm jääda ilma) on kujunenud meie põlvkonna põhiolemuseks, kus hirm jääda tühiseks loob pidevat konflikti iseenda väärtuse kohta, kuid ka iroonilist arutelu meie ihaluste siiruse üle. Me naudime seda rahuolematu püsimatuse ilu ja kaost, kuid tunnetame pidevalt ka paradoksi, et keegi pole reaalselt keskkpunkti sattudes selle äratundmiseks ise enam ammu võimeline. Kui me ise ostame ja loome seda ihalust, siis paratamatult oleme me ise selle ihaluse ja rahuolematuse taastootjad.
Olles ise Viini emigreerunud uue põneva (lääne-)elu ihaluses, näeme, et Ida-Euroopa on saksa kultuuriruumis sama hot kui meile on hot Berliini-Viini unelmad. Kõik on kuum, mis on mujal. Aga seda seni kuni tekib vajadus uusima uue järele. Näituse eesmärgiks on läbi kultuuride ja ihade füüsilise transpordi seada küsimuse alla kogu abstraktne fomotamine: kas mul on tegelikult vaja mujale minna? kas mul tõesti läheks seal mujal paremini? mida ma seal mujal teisiti teeks? mida ma üldse siin teen? jms. Selline vahetus ja füüsiline invasioon toimuks kahes suunas — nii Viin-Eesti kui ka vastupidi (planeeritud on näitus Viinis).
Sihtpunkt ise pole ammu enam oluline, sest suunajaks ongi meie enda iha ja soov olla pidevalt teel põnevama poole kohale jõudmata. Yolo.
