For this installation I ripped out parts of the already destroyed basement carpet in the Academy of Fine Arts library's cellar. Most of the books there left were the ones that noone wanted to read for years. Using a plastic thread, another 'invisible' layer was woven under the institution's carpet, creating an altar made of found subjects and objects I came across in the city of Vienna. Among them are artificial flowers, broken pearls, fortune cookie messages, broken nails and photos of injuries.
